Kiwix, an offline Wikipedia reader (and SourceForge’s 2013 Project of the Month), aims to make that data more accessible to people worldwide. But all that knowledge is only available so long as the reader is connected online. Wikipedia, the world’s sixth-ranked Website by visitors, is perhaps the most prominent example of this sort of crowdsourcing at work: it now boasts more than 24 million articles in 285 languages, edited by an army of volunteers. meta4 XML contents, or on something else.Over the past several years, wikis have exerted a sizable influence on how people share and consume information online.
I know they try to use a common method for all the kiwix clients, but don't know if it's based on these. Regarding the technical way to retrieve the ZIM list, certainly has some directions to give. Regarding filtering, this bug should be reported and fixed either on the kiwix server (by removing this mirror) or by themselves (by changing their content-type in the response, I suppose?).

Download of large files is tested and works fine on Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 UWP (desktop/tablet), and the file is saved to Downloads, or wherever the user has chosen to save downloads in Windows settings.
